FOUNDED BY THE CONGREGATION OF CHRISTIAN BROTHERS IN 1940, IONA COLLEGE IS CHARTERED BY THE STATE OF NEW YORK AND FULLY ACCREDITED BY THE FEDERAL DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION APPROVED REGIONAL ACCREDITOR, THE COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION OF THE MIDDLE STATES ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES (CHE-MSA) TO OFFER CREDIT-BEARING COURSEWORK TOWARDS DEGREES AND REGISTERED CERTIFICATES AT THE UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE LEVELS.
