THE INTERNATIONAL SYNAGOGUE WAS ORGANIZED AND ESTABLISHED IN 1958 TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE TRAVELING COMMUNITY. THE SYNAGOGUE HAS BEEN REPRESENTING JUDAISM TO THE FLYING PUBLIC AT THE AIR GATEWAY TO THE US FOR 50 YEARS. THE PROJECT OF BUILDING A SYNAGOGUE AT THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WITH THE INTENT OF ALLOWING THE JEWISH COMMUNITY TO HAVE EQUAL RELIGIOUS REPRESENTATION AT THE AIRPORT PROCLAIMED THE RELIGIOUS LIBERTY GUARANTEED BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND REPRESENTED THE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM THAT PERSONS OF EVERY CREED CAN ENJOY.

PROVIDE YEAR-ROUND WELCOMING AND HOSTING OF THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS POISED FOR A YEAR OF STUDY IN ISREAL, AND OF CAMPERS EMBARKING ON A SUMMER IN ISREAL. THE CHILDREN ARE ACCOMPANIED BY FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS BEFORE THEY BOARD THEIR FLIGHTS. PARENTS RELY UPON THE SAFETY, SECURITY, AND FAMILIARITY THAT OUR ENVIRONMENT PROVIDES THEM WITH BEFORE THEIR CHILDREN DEPART. OUR CHAPEL IS A PLACE FOR SERVICES, PRIVATE PRAYER, MEDITATION, REST AND READING, OPEN TO ALL IN A TRUE SPIRIT OF WELCOME TO ALL DENOMINATIONS.
