TO ENGAGE BUSINESS ATTORNEYS IN CORPORATIONS AND LAW FIRMS, IN PROVIDING PRO BONO LEGAL SERVICES TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, WITH A PARTICULAR FOCUS ON ENGAGING VOLUNTEERS FROM CORPORATE LEGAL DEPARTMENTS.

PRO BONO PARTNERSHIP PROVIDES BUSINESS AND TRANSACTIONAL LEGAL SERVICES TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE THE POOR AND DISADVANTAGED AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN NEIGHBORHOODS IN NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY AND CONNECTICUT. OUR IN-HOUSE LEGAL STAFF RECRUITS AND SUPPORTS ATTORNEYS FROM MAJOR CORPORATIONS AND LAW FIRMS WHO DONATE THEIR TIME TO ADVISE OUR CLIENTS ON BUSINESS LEGAL MATTERS, HELPING THEM TO INCREASE THEIR EFFECTIVENESS AND ENHANCE THEIR ABILITY TO PROVIDE SERVICES. EACH YEAR, ON AVERAGE, THE PARTNERSHIP RECRUITS OVER 1,200 VOLUNTEER ATTORNEYS TO ASSIST 800 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WITH 1,500 LEGAL MATTERS. ADDITIONALLY, STAFF ATTORNEYS RESPOND TO 1,300 LEGAL HELPLINE INQUIRES FROM NON PROFITS AND ATTORNEYS.
