THE MISSION OF THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF RIDGEFIELD IS TO INSPIRE AND ENABLE ALL YOUNG PEOPLE TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AS CARING, PRODUCTIVE, AND RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS. YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMING IS PROVIDED YEAR ROUND AND FOCUSES ON FIVE CORE AREAS: SPORTS, FITNESS & RECREATION, THE ARTS, EDUCATION & CAREER PREPARATION, HEALTH & LIFE SKILLS, AND CHARACTER & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

LAST YEAR THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF RIDGEFIELD IMPROVED THE LIVES OF OVER 3,500 BOYS AND GIRLS FROM RIDGEFIELD. LOW COST MEMBERSHIP ALLOWS YOUTH TO ATTEND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING AT THE CLUB YEAR ROUND. CLUB MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES IN OUR FIVE CORE AREAS THAT ENCOURAGE INCREASED LEARNING, IMPROVED FITNESS, POSITIVE DECISION MAKING, CREATIVITY, LEADERSHIP, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. AN AVERAGE 250 YOUTH ATTEND THE CLUB EACH DAY AFTER SCHOOL AND OVER 350 ATTEND DAILY IN THE SUMMER. THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL YOUTH SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS AND NON-PROFITS YEAR-ROUND.
