OPERATION OF A K-8 SCHOOL. IN OUR DUAL-LANGUAGE SCHOOL (MANDARIN AND ENGLISH), STUDENTS LEARN TO APPRECIATE THE VALUES AND CULTURES OF BOTH WORLDS. AT YEW CHUNG, THEY GET THE BEST OF THE EAST AND THE WEST.
OUR BILINGUAL PRESCHOOL PROGRAM TAKES PLACE IN A NURTURING ENVIRONMENT THAT ENABLES CHILDREN TO EXERCISE INITIATIVE, MAKE DECISIONS AND CONSTRUCT A HANDS-ON UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORLD THROUGH TWO LANGUAGES, ENGLISH AND MANDARIN. AN INTEGRATED CURRICULUM BASED ON CHILDRENS INTERESTS COMPRISES LEARNING ACTIVITIES COVERING A RANGE OF AREAS RATHER THAN ISOLATED SUBJECTS TO FURTHER CHILDRENS LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT.
