MEDICAL PROGRAM - THE MEDICAL SERVICES OF CARING HEALTH CENTER PROVIDE ACCESS TO AND CONTINUING PRIMARY AND PREVENTIVE HEALTH CARE SERVICES, ADULT AND PEDIATRIC, TO THE PEOPLE OF SPRINGFIELD AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY FOR THESE SERVICES. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021, 14,489 PATIENTS WERE SERVED WITH A TOTAL OF 42,677 MEDICAL VISITS.
PHARMACY SERVICES - THE HEALTH CENTER OPERATES AN ON SITE PHARMACY AND CONTRACTS WITH COMMERCIAL PHARMACIES TO PROVIDE HRSA 340 B AS WELL AS RETAIL PHARMACEUTICALS FOR OUR PATIENTS. THE PHARMACY PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES MEDICATION THERAPY MANAGEMENT AND WORKS WITH OUR MEDICAL PROVIDERS TO PRESCRIBE THE MOST APPROPRIATE PHARMACEUTICALS FOR OUR PATIENTS.
DENTAL/ORAL HEALTH PROGRAM - THE ORAL HEALTH SERVICES OF CARING HEALTH CENTER PROVIDE ACCESS TO AND CONTINUING PRIMARY AND PREVENTIVE DENTAL CARE SERVICES, ADULT AND PEDIATRIC, TO THE PEOPLE OF SPRINGFIELD AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY FOR THESE SERVICES. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021, 4,017 PATIENTS WERE SERVED WITH A TOTAL OF 10,366 DENTAL VISITS.
OTHER INCLUDING THE WIC PROGRAM - THE WIC PROGRAM OF CARING HEALTH CENTER PROVIDED NUTRITIONAL SEVICES, HEALTH EDUCATION AND OTHER SERVICES TO 5,725 RECIPIENTS IN FY21. WIC REVENUES AND EXPENSES INCLUDED $1,328,929 IN DIRECT CONSUMER AID VOUCHERS.
