TO SERVE THE HUMANITARIAN NEEDS OF THE ARMENIAN PEOPLE AND SEEK TO PRESERVE THE CULTURAL IDENTITY OF THE ARMENIAN NATION THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. MOREOVER, TO AID PEOPLE IN NEED DUE TO NATURAL AND MAN-MADE DISASTERS, ARMENIAN AND NON-ARMENIAN.

ARMENIA/ARTSAKH PROGRAM - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES EMERGENCY RELIEF IN ARMENIA AND ARTSAHK. DURING 2015 THERE WERE SIGNIFICANT ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES RELATED TO THE STEPANAKERT ARS "SOSEH" KINDERGARTEN. THE BUILDING HOUSING THE STEPANAKERT ARS "SOSEH" KINDERGARTEN WAS CONSTRUCTED IN THE 1950S THEREFORE IT WAS IN DIRE NEED OF REPAIRS AND REQUIRED SEISMIC RETROFITTING. THE ARS CEB DECIDED TO DEMOLISH THE BUILDING AND REBUILD A NEW FACILITY MEETING THE NEEDS OF SAFETY OF A MODERN DAY SCHOOL ABIDING BY THE STANDARDS OF THE GOVERNMENT.
SPONSOR A CHILD, ORPHANS EDUCATIONAL FUND - THE SPONSOR A CHILD FUND WAS ORIGINALLY ESTABLISHED IN JUNE 1992 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING DIRECT SUPPORT TO ARMENIAN CHILDREN THROUGH SPONSORSHIP. DURING 2008, AN ADDITIONAL FUND REFERRED TO AS THE ORPHANS EDUCATIONAL FUND WAS ESTABLISHED FOR ORPHANS AGE 18 AND OVER WHO ARE CONTINUING THEIR EDUCATION. THE DONORS CONTRIBUTE AN ANNUAL AMOUNT WHICH IS USED TO SUPPORT THE INDIVIDUAL CHILD THAT THE DONOR HAS ELECTED TO "SPONSOR." ALL OF THE MONIES CONTRIBUTED TO THESE FUNDS, LESS A PER-CHILD ADMINISTRATIVE FEE, ARE FORWARDED TO THE SPONSORED ARMENIAN CHILDREN.
ORPHAN'S EDUCATION FUND - ESTABLISHED FOR ORPHANS AGE 18 AND OVER WHO ARE CONTINUING THEIR EDUCATION. DONORS CONTRIBUTE AN ANNUAL AMOUNT WHICH IS USED TO SUPPORT THE INDIVIDUAL CHILD THAT DONOR HAS ELECTED TO "SPONSOR".
