EXIBITION OF ART: APPROXIMATELY 85,500 PEOPLE VISITED THE PARK AND THE MUSEUM DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, TO VIEW MULTIPLE EXHIBITIONS, INCLUDING TWO MAJOR EXHIBITIONS AND NUMEROUS INSTALLATIONS, EXHIBITS, AND ARTIST PROJECTS, THE DETAILS OF WHICH MAY BE VIEWED ON THE MUSEUM WEBSITE. DECORDOVA'S PERMANENT COLLECTION CURRENTLY CONTAINS 3,613 WORKS OF ART.
ART EDUCATION: DECORDOVA EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS WERE ACCESSED BY MORE THAN 10,000 OF OUR VISITORS, INCLUDING VISITING SCHOOL GROUPS, TEACHERS, GIRL SCOUTS, SENIOR GROUPS, ALZHEIMER'S MEMORY CARE RESIDENTS, AND GROUPS OF DEVELOPMENTALLY OR PHYSICALLY DISABLED STUDENTS AND ADULTS. THE INSTITUTION PROVIDED MORE THAN 450 PRIVATE AND PUBLIC TOURS LED BY TRAINED MUSEUM GUIDES, APPROXIMATELY 100 FREE PUBLIC PROGRAMS AND EVENTS, AND HOSTS AN EMBEDDED PRESCHOOL ON ITS CAMPUS THAT SERVES 60 CHILDREN FIVE DAYS PER WEEK, AMONG OTHER EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES OFFERED TO A DIVERSE PUBLIC.
CORPORATE ART PROGRAM: THE CORPORATE ART PROGRAM EXHIBITS HUNDREDS OF WORKS FROM REGIONAL LENDING ARTISTS AT THE OFFICES OF APPROXIMATELY 75 CORPORATE MEMBERS WHO DIRECTLY SUPPORT THE MUSEUM, WITH MORE THAN 75,000 EMPLOYEES AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC VIEWING TESE WORKS OF ART.
THE DECORDOVA STORE OFFERS MERCHANDISE DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE MISSION OF THE INSTITUTION, INCLUDING OBJECTS MADE BY ARTISTS, ART SUPPLIES, ART BOOKS, CREATIVE TOYS AND ACTIVITIES, AND GIFT ITEMS. THE STORE DIRECTLY SUPPORTS BOTH LOCAL ARTISTS AND THE INSTITUITION PROGRAMS AND SERVICES.
