THE ORGANIZATION'S MEMBERSHIP IS LIMITED TO MEMBERS OF GRANITE LODGE #35, FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS, WHO EACH PAY AN ADDITIONAL MEMBERSHIP FEE OF $2 PER YEAR TO BE MEMBERS OF THE SQUARE AND COMPASS CLUB, INC. ("S&C CLUB"). THE S&C CLUB IS THE PRIMARY FUND-RAISING OPERATION FOR GRANITE LODGE #35. WE USE ALL PROCEEDS, AFTER PAYING OPERATING COSTS, TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO 501C(3) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT A VARIETY OF CHARITABLE CAUSES. NO DONATIONS ARE MADE TO POLITICAL ORGANIZATIONS. DONATIONS ARE GENERALLY IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000 OR LESS TO EACH CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION. WE HAVE NO DIRECT AFFILIATION OR OTHER FORMAL TIES WITH ANY OF THE RECIPIENT ORGANIZATIONS. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF S&C CLUB ANNUALLY REVIEWS A LISTING OF CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS REQUESTING DONATIONS AT AN OPEN MEETING AND DONATIONS ARE AGREED UPON BY MAJORITY VOTE OF ALL PRESENT. ALL OF THE CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS ACKNOWLEDGED OUR GIFT, CONFIRMED THAT NO GOODS OR SERVICES WERE RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR OUR DONATION, AND WERE U.S. DOMICILED ORGANIZATIONS.
