SERVICE PROJECTS - AT&T VETERANS SEEKS TO MANAGE AND/OR PARTICIPATE IN OUTREACH EVENTS WITHIN MEMBER COMMUNITIES TO SUPPORT LOCAL VETERANS AND ENCOURAGE EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEERISM. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO FOSTERS RELATIONSHIPS WITH VETERAN-FOCUSED ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN MEMBER COMMUNITIES TO LEVERAGE OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT LOCAL VETERANS. SOME SERVICE AND SUPPORT PROJECT EXAMPLES INCLUDE CARE PACKAGES, VETERANS DAY CEREMONIES, AND VOLUNTEERING WITH PARTNERING NON-PROFITS SUCH AS WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT, TOYS FOR TOTS, HONOR FLIGHT AND THE USO.
MENTORING & RECRUITMENT - AT&T VETERANS WORKS TO ACTIVELY PROMOTE A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF THE SACRIFICES AND CONTRIBUTIONS MADE BY VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE ORGANIZATION SERVES AS AN INFORMATION AND SUPPORT CONDUIT FOR AT&T EMPLOYEES WHO ARE CALLED INTO SERVICE OR HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS CURRENTLY SERVING. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES RECRUITMENT ASSISTANCE, CAREER MENTORING PROGRAMS, AND EMPLOYEE EDUCATION EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION EXPANDED MEMORIAL DAY EMPLOYEE COMMUNITY EVENTS HOSTED NATIONALLY THROUGH THE 'CARRY THE LOAD' PROGRAM.
SCHOLARSHIPS - THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS TO VETERANS. THE AT&T VETERANS SCHOLARSHIP IS OFFERED TO U.S. MILITARY VETERANS REGARDLESS OF EMPLOYMENT.
