TO PROMOTE NURSING SCIENCE IN THE NORTHEASTERN UNITED STATES. THE SOCIETY HELD THEIR ANNUAL CONFERENCE MARCH 25-26, 2021. THE EVENT ATTRACTED OVER 500 ATTENDEES. THE GOALS OF THE CONFERENCE ARE AS FOLLOWS:1) EXPLORE INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS OF NURSING RESEARCH THAT HAVE MADE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS IN ADVANCING THE HEALTH OF DIVERSE POPULATIONS;2) GENERATE CREATIVE STRATEGIES FOR DISSEMINATION AND TRANSLATION OF NURSING SCIENCE THAT PROMOTES DIVERSITY, HEALTH EQUITY, AND INCLUSION INTO POLICY AND/OR PRACTICE;3) EXAMINE THE IMPACT OF LEADING THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVES TO TRANSFORM NURSING SCIENCE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF A DIVERSE SOCIETY, INCLUDING DISSEMINATION OF NURSING SCIENCE INTO PRACTICE.
