THE INTERNATIONAL MISSION OF THE YWCA IS TO ELIMINATE RACISM AND TO EMPOWER WOMEN IN ORDER TO ATTAIN THE COMMON VISION OF: PEACE, JUSTICE, FREEDOM AND DIGNITY FOR ALL PEOPLE. THE MISSION IS MET LOCALLY THROUGH THE DELIVERY OF SOCIAL SERVICE PROGRAMS AS WELL AS PROGRAMS THAT ENRICH THE GENERAL COMMUNITY.

YWCA CRISIS SERVICES PROVIDES FREE CONFIDENTIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY SERVICES TO VICTIMS/SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND STALKING. THESE SERVICES ARE BASED ON THE EMPOWERMENT PHILOSOPHY, HELPING VICTIMS/SURVIVORS TAKE BACK THE POWER THAT WAS TAKEN FROM THEM AND HELP THEM MOVE FORWARD.
