THE YESHIVAT MAHARAT CURRICULUM IS PARTIALLY MODELED ON ORTHODOX ORDINATION PROGRAMS WITH THE GOAL OF PROVIDING STUDENTS THE NECESSARY SKILLS TO BE CONFIDENT SPIRITUAL LEADERS IN THE JEWISH COMMUNITY. UPON GRADUATION, THEY WILL BE EXPERTS IN JEWISH LAW, TALMUD, BIBLE, JEWISH THOUGHT AND WILL ALSO HAVE STRONG RHETORICAL FACILITY AND COUNSELING PROFICIENCY. IN ADDITION TO MASTERY OF TEXT AND ITS APPLICATION TO CONTEMPORARY SITUATIONS, STUDENTS WILL PARTICIPATE IN COURSES IN PASTORAL EDUCATION, PRACTICAL RABBINICS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. THERE WILL ALSO BE SPECIAL PROGRAMS IN INTER-DENOMINATIONAL DIALOGUE, INTER-FAITH DIALOGUE AND INCLUSIVENESS OF MARGINALIZED GROUPS WITHIN.
