MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

FORWARD CODY WYOMING, INC IS ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE CODY AND PARK COUNTY AS A DESIRABLE PLACE TO DO BUSINESS, PRODUCE GOODS AND SERVICES, EDUCATE OUR CITIZENS AND ENJOY THE QUALITY OF LIFE.

PROVIDE QUALITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF PARK COUNTY.

THE CODY NITE RODEO, THE CODY STAMPEDE AND XTREME BULLS ARE ALL HELD TO PROMOTE THE RODEO, THE COMMUNITY OF CODY, WYOMING AND TO GENERATE GOODWILL. THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES THE CODY NITE RODEO AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE RODEO GROUNDS, HIRING A STOCK CONTRACTOR AND PROMOTING THE CODY NITE RODEO WHICH OPERATES JUNE 1 THROUGH AUGUST 31. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ORGANIZES THE CODY STAMPEDE WHICH OPERATES JULY 1 THROUGH JULY 4. THEY PROMOTE THE STAMPEDE AND HIRE THE STOCK CONTRACTOR. THE CODY STAMPEDE SPONSORS THE XTREME BULLS COMPETITION WHICH HIS HELD FOR ONE NIGHT ON JUNE 30.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CARE AND FIND GOOD HOMES FOR OUR ANIMAL GUESTS; TO PROMOTE RESPONSIBLE PET GUARDIANSHIP; TO WORK TO END THE OVERPOPULATION OF FERAL CATS AS WELL AS ALL PETS; AND TO RUN AN ORGANIZED EFFICIENT SHELTER WITH A NO-KILL PHILOSOPHY.

MISSION:

MUSEUM OF THE OLD WEST EXISTS TO CONSERVE ARTIFACTS AND BUILDINGS WHICH REPRESENT THE STORY OF WYOMING DURING OUR COUNTRY'S WESTWARD EXPANSION FROM THE FUR TRADE ERA TO THE EARLY 1900S. WE EDUCATE THE NEARLY 25,000 VISITORS PER SEASON ON THE WAY THE WEST WAS THROUGH INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS AND DISPLAYS.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

The goal of this organization are the religious organizations whose form of Christian faith and practice originated with the principles of the Reformation. Use this code for Protestant churches as well as their ministries, missions or missionary activities; bible camps and schools; and bible distribution programs.

PARK COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE ACTIVITIES AND FINANCIAL HEALTH OF THE PARK COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM.

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF PARK COUNTY, WYOMING, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION INCORPORATED IN THE STATE OF WYOMING TO ADMINISTER PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT CHILDREN IN THE PARK COUNTY AREA. TO INSPIRE AND ENABLE ALL YOUNG PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO NEED US MOST, TO REALIZE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AS PRODUCTIVE, RESPONSIBLE AND CARING CITIZENS.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION WAS CREATED TO SUPPORT THE SENIOR CITIZENS OF THE CODY, WYOMING COMMUNITY AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES OF POWELL AND MEETEETSE WYOMING. MORE SPECIFICALLY AS THE COMMUNITIES NOW HAVE FULLY OPERATIONAL SENIOR CITIZENS' CENTERS; THIS ORGANIZATION WILL RAISE MONIES TO FURNISH THE CENTERS WITH ANY NEEDED EQUIPMENT, FURNITURE AND SUPPLIES.
