The goal of this organization is to provide a wide variety of social services that are designed to support healthy family development, improve the familys ability to resolve problems and prevent the need for unnecessary placement of children in settings outside the home.

THE EFW IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED IN 1990 TO RAISE FUNDS TO GIVE BACK TO THE WAUWATOSA SCHOOLS IN THE FORM OF GRANTS IN ORDER FOR TEACHERS OR SCHOOLS TO OFFER STUDENTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENHANCE THEIR EDUCATION THAT MIGHT OTHERWISE NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE DUE TO SCHOOL BUDGETARY CONSTRAINTS.
