THE FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENHANCING, PRESERVING, AND PROTECTING THE LOCAL ECOLOGICAL SYSTEM OF THE BUTTERNUT-FRANKLIN LAKES AREA THROUGH FUNDING PROJECTS SUCH AS FISH STOCKING, LAKE STUDIES, AND OTHER EFFORTS TO ENHANCE FLORA AND FAUNA, DEVELOPING AND PRESENTING EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PROGRAMS ON ECOLOGICAL AND OTHER ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE LAKES AREA, AND PROVIDING INPUT AND SUPPORT TO GOVERNMENTAL UNITS WHEN THESE AGENCIES HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE AREA.

TO GRANT REQUESTS OF THOSE LIVING WITH CANCER IN THEIR LIVES IN AN EFFORT TO PROVE THE DISEASE IS POWERLESS OVER LIVING A LIFE OF RICH QUALITY AND ENDLESS POSSIBILITY, AND TO FURTHER AWARENESS OF THE PLIGHT OF THOSE AFFECTED BY CANCER THROUGH ADVOCACY AND NETWORKING WITH OTHER CANCER SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS.

FURNISH MEALS TO CHILDREN IN UNDERSERVED RURAL AREAS WHERE OTHER PROGRAMS HAVE LEFT SOME CHILDREN WITHOUT FULL NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT.
