A MULTI-AGE ARTS, EDUCATION, AND OUTDOOR RECREATION AND CONFERENCE CENTER DEDICATED TO ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND STRENGTHENING DIVERSE FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH UNIQUE PROGRAM OFFERINGS AND FACILITY RENTALS.

MISSION:

STARKSBORO COOPERATIVE PRESCHOOL (SCP) PROVIDES A POSITIVE FIRST SCHOOL EXPERIENCE AND AFFORDABLE CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN ADDISON AND CHITTENDEN COUNTIES FOR MORE THAN 40 YEARS. SCP EMPLOYS A STABLE AND PASSIONATE PRESCHOOL STAFF THAT WORKS WITH PARENTS TO HELP CHILDREN DEVELOP A LOVE OF LEARNING THROUGH PLAY AND EXPLORATION. SCP IS RECOGNIZED AS A FIVE-STAR PRESCHOOL PROGRAM, WHICH IS THE HIGHEST QUALITY RECOGNITION LEVEL A PROGRAM CAN RECEIVE.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide support services to patients and their families. Programs can include social and recreational activities for people who are recovering from surgery or a serious illnesses; supportive services for children who are ill and for their families which enable family members to remain with a child who is hospitalized; family and sibling support groups, and programs which attempt to make a gravely or terminally ill child’s final days, weeks and months more pleasant.
