THE MISSION OF THE VERMONT CENTER FOR THE DEAF & HARD OF HEARING, INC. IS TO EMPOWER DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING CHILDREN, ADULTS AND FAMILIES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF COMPREHENSIVE AND INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION, SOCIAL AND SUPPORT SERVICES.

WUQU' KAWOQ IS A NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO FACILITATING EXCELLENCE AND LINGUISTIC COMPETENCE IN MEDICAL CARE DELIVERY IN THE INDIGENOUS HIGHLANDS OF GUATEMALA. PROGRAMS INCLUDE PRIMARY AND COMPLEX MEDICAL CARE.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND TRANSPORTATION AT THE PARAMEDIC LEVEL TO THE RESIDENTS OF TEN TOWNS IN THE WHITE RIVER VALLEY IN VERMONT; TO PROVIDE TRAINING TO EMS PERSONNEL AND TRAINEES; AND, UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION, TO PROVIDE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION FOR CPR.
