THE FOUNDATION SERVES AS A CONDUIT FOR CONTRIBUTIONS THAT PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AND TUITION AND BOOK ASSISTANCE FOR STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF, AT NEW RIVER COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS OR GROUPS FOR EDUCATIONAL, CHARITABLE, AND BENEVOLENT ACTIVITIES. PRESENTLY, THE FOUNDATION IS INVOLVED IN EDUCATIONAL GRANTS AND DISASTER RELIEF PROGRAMS.

PROMOTE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE THROUGH COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, EDUCATION, COMMUNICATION, ORGANIZING, COMMUNITY ACTION, ADMINISTRATION OF THE ORGANIZATION, MAINTENANCE OF ITS ASSETS, DELIVERY OF BENEFITS TO MEMBERS, FRATERNAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES THAT FURTHER THE INTERESTS OF THE MEMBERS.
