THE JOHN TYLER COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION ACQUIRES VITAL RESOURCES WHICH ADVANCE THE COLLEGE'S MISSION TO PROVIDE SUPERIOR, AFFORDABLE, AND ACCESSIBLE EDUCATION TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION SEEKS THE TIME, TALENT, AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF INDIVIDUALS, BUSINESSES AND PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS TO HELP FUND INITIATIVES SUCH AS STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, A GRANT PROGRAM TO SUPPORT STAFF AND FACULTY INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT, AND TO SUPPORT ACADEMIC AND STUDENT PROGRAMS AT THE COLLEGE.

CHESTERFIELD FOOD BANK IS AN ORGANIZATION WITH THE MISSION TO FIGHT HUNGER AND EMPOWER LIVES. LAST YEAR WE PROVIDED 5.4 MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD THROUGH OUR FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS, MOTEL OUTREACH, HOMELESS OUTREACH, COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO THOSE FACING FOOD INSECURITY
