MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

KIMBALL ART CENTER (KAC) PROVIDES INTERNATIONAL QUALITY ART EXHIBITIONS AND DYNAMIC EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE CITIZENS OF PARK CITY, SUMMIT COUNTY, WASATCH COUNTY, AND THE REGION'S MANY VISITORS. KAC INTRODUCES VISITORS TO THE ARTISTIC PROCESS THROUGH ITS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND GIVES INSIGHT INTO THE MANY LAYERS OF CREATIVITY WITH ITS EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS. THE KIMBALL ART CENTER COLLABORATES WITH MANY LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND PARTNERS WITH PARK CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION TO PRODUCE THE PARK CITY KIMBALL ARTS FESTIVAL DURING THE FIRST WEEKEND IN AUGUST. FOUNDED IN 1976 BY BILL KIMBALL, THE KIMBALL ART CENTER IS ONE OF THE REGION'S OLDEST CREATIVE NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. MISSION: KIMBALL ART CENTER INSPIRES, EDUCATES, AND CONNECTS THROUGH ART BY OFFERING EXHIBITIONS, CLASSES, AND EVENTS TO PARK CITY RESIDENTS AND VISITORS.
