ALUMNI OF WOR RETREATS REPORT THE EXPERIENCE CONTRIBUTED TO EASING THEIR SUFFERING; TO ENABLING HIGHER FUNCTIONING; TO FACILITATING HEALTHIER RELATIONSHIPS WITH FRIENDS, PARTNERS, CHILDREN; TO INSPIRING ACTIVISM; AND TO DIMINISHING THE CYCLE OF VICTIMIZATION.
