Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

PROMOTION OF ROTARY INTERNATIONAL IDEALS IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY,PARTICIPATION IN INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS, AND INVOLVEMENT IN LOCAL COMMUNITY TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO YOUTH ACTIVITIES AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS.

THE TEMPLE BUSINESS LEAGUE PLANS MEETINGS FOR BOARD AND MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS, BRINGING TOGETHER COMMUNITY LEADERS TO SHARE INFORMATION, MONITOR ACTIVITIES IMPORTANT TO A POSITIVE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT, AND, WHEN APPROPRIATE, TO TAKE ACTION SUCH AS FORMING TASK FORCE COMMITTEES. TBL CURRENTLY HAS TASK FORCE COMMITTEES RELATED TO GOVERNMENT, TRANSPORTATION, AND INFRASTRUCTURE. THESE COMMITTEES MEET AS NEEDED.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR VETERAN'S BENEFITS, ENTERTAINMENT OF VETERANS, ASSISTANCE TO VETERAN'S MEDICAL CENTERS.

Also included are medical groups which provide health care for HMO members on a contract with the HMO and physician practice groups generally associated with teaching, research, and public hospitals.
