THE TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF STRUCTURAL MOVERS (TASM) WAS ORGANIZED BY A GROUP OF MOVERS TO FOSTER AND PROMOTE THE ASSOCIATION OF PERSONS WHOSE WORK IS PRINCIPALLY CONCERNED WITH MOVING OF HOUSES, BUILDINGS, BRIDGES, SHIPS, AND OTHER STRUCTURES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in archery; fly or bait fishing; game bird, game fowl, or game animal hunting; fox hunting; and/or the use of firearms on the target range.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the neighborhood-based multipurpose centers that offer, at a single location, a wide variety of services and activities that are structured to meet the needs of the entire community through different programs for different age and interest groups.

MISSION:

TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY AND TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO YOUTH AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS IN THE TEMPLE AREA.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to develop, maintain and make available to the general public recreational areas which are equipped with athletic fields and courts, campgrounds, picnic areas and a variety of recreational trails such as bridle trails, hiking trails, off-the-road vehicle trails and snowmobile trails.

The goal of this organization is to provide services for the mutual aid and benefit of their members; that ordinarily have a lodge system whereby activities are carried out under a form of organization that comprises local branches, chartered by a parent organization and largely self-governing, and that make provision for the payment of death benefits, and for benefits in case of accident, sickness, or old age. The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in swimming, diving, snorkeling, surfing, water skiing, water polo, boating, white water rafting and other water sports. Coaching, access to a swimming pool or other facilities, sports equipment, and officials for competitions are generally included.

TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR VETERAN'S BENEFITS, ENTERTAINMENT OF VETERANS, ASSISTANCE TO VETERAN'S MEDICAL CENTERS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to operate organizations that provide diagnostic testing and/or individual or group instruction for people who are having reading difficulties. Instruction focuses on phonics, dictionary skills, vocabulary development, spelling and study skills, comprehension and memory skills.

THE TEMPLE BUSINESS LEAGUE PLANS MEETINGS FOR BOARD AND MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS, BRINGING TOGETHER COMMUNITY LEADERS TO SHARE INFORMATION, MONITOR ACTIVITIES IMPORTANT TO A POSITIVE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT, AND, WHEN APPROPRIATE, TO TAKE ACTION SUCH AS FORMING TASK FORCE COMMITTEES. TBL CURRENTLY HAS TASK FORCE COMMITTEES RELATED TO GOVERNMENT, TRANSPORTATION, AND INFRASTRUCTURE. THESE COMMITTEES MEET AS NEEDED.
