MISSION:

LUBBOCK AREA ADDICTION SERVICE PROVIDES FUNDING FOR ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS, AND RECOVERY CONVENTIONS AND MEETINGS. LAAS PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR CLIENTS AND FAMILIES OF CLIENTS THAT ARE IN TREATMENT FOR ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE.

MISSION:

THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND OUTREACH ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME, NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING, ELDERLY OR DISABLED INDIVIDUALS OF THE COMMUNITY IN AN EFFORT TO HELP THESE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES ACHIEVE SELF-SUFFICIENCY THROUGH COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS, AWARENESS AND EDUCATION, FINANCIAL LITERACY, AND ADVOCACY IN AN ATMOSPHERE OR RESPECT.

TO INSTRUCT AND ENCOURAGE YOUNG GIRLS IN THE BASICS OF VOLLEYBALL WITH THE END RESULT BEING THAT THEY EXCEL WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION AND ARE ABLE TO TAKE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO THEIR RESPECTIVE SCHOOLS AND BEYOND.

THE LUBBOCK EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION WORKS WITH THE LUBBOCK ISD AND FRENSHIP ISD ADMINISTRATIONS AND SCHOOL BOARDS TO GET BETTER SALARIES, BENEFITS, AND WORKING CONDITIONS FOR OUR MEMBERS.
