THE LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF LUBBOCK, INC. BEGAN AS A PRO BONO PROJECT OF THE LUBBOCK COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION IN ORDER TO ADDRESS A RECOGNIZED GAP IN LEGAL SERVICES TO LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS OF LUBBOCK COUNTY. THIS PROJECT HAS EXPANDED INTO AN EFFORT TO AFFORD LOW-INCOME CLIENTS IN LUBBOCK AND THE SURROUNDING COUNTIES WITH FIRST-RATE LEGAL ASSISTANCE, ADVOCACY, AND QUALITY COUNSEL IN MATTERS OF FAMILY AND ELDER LAW.
