THE PURPOSE IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE SHELBY COUNTY HEALTH CARE CORPORATION, A 501(C)(3) PUBLIC HOSPITAL ESTABLISHED TO SERVE PATIENT CARE NEEDS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

BRIDGES MISSION IS TO UNITE AND INSPIRE DIVERSE YOUNG PEOPLE TO BECOME CONFIDENT AND COURAGEOUS LEADERS COMMITTED TO COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION.

THE MAIN FORM OF ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY MOST IS SCHOLARSHIPS TO HELP STUDENTS FROM LOW-INCOME FAMILIES HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN THE MEMPHIS AREA THAT CHARGE TUITION.

THE SCHOOL WILL "MEET STUDENTS WHERE THEY ARE" IN THEIR EDUCATION BY PROVIDING A FLEXIBLE STRUCTURE AND SUPPORTIVE RELATIONSHIPS TO HELP THEM MANAGE WORK, LIFE, AND FAMILY CONCERNS AS THEY ACHIEVE THEIR EDUCATIONAL GOALS.
