ANNUALLY PROVIDES A FREE ONE-WEEK SUMMER CAMP FOR APPROXIMATELY 200 UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN (BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS) WITH THE AIM OF PROMOTING INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND SELF-ESTEEM.

TO ELEVATE THE LEVEL OF CARE IN THE EYE CARE PROFESSION BY PROVIDING A MEANS FOR MEMBERS OF THE PROFESSION TO SHARE INFORMATION AND TO DEVELOP, IMPLEMENT, AND MAINTAIN STANDARDS IN THE PROFESSION.

AMERICAN LEGION - SENIORS UNLIMITED, INC. IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUTES OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A 24 UNIT PROJECT KNOWN AS AMERICAN LEGION - SENIORS UNLIMITED APARTMENTS LOCATED IN EASLEY, SOUTH CAROLINA, WHICH PROVIDES HOUSING FOR LOW INCOME ELDERLY PERSONS. THE CORPORATION RECEIVES HOUSING ASSISTANCE FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO SECTION 202 OF THE HOUSING ACT, AS AMENDED.

ABUNDANCE CAPITAL IS A NONPROFIT, VENTURE PHILANTHROPY PLATFORM, HELPING CHARITABLE DONORS ACTIVATE PLACE-BASED IMPACT INVESTING ACROSS THE SOUTH, GENERATING INCLUSIVE PROSPERITY AND CREATING SUSTAINABLE LOCAL ECONOMIES.
