TO IDENTIFY PHILANTHROPIC RESOURCES AND RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT AND ENHANCE THE MISSION OF OCONEE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND ITS COMMUNITY HEALTH PROGRAMS

MISSION:

TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE RETENTION OF EXISTING BUSINESSES AND INDUSTRIES AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW BUSINESSES AND INDUSTRIES IN ECONOMICALLY DISTRESSED AREAS OF THE CITY OF SENECA, SOUTH CAROLINA.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide services for the mutual aid and benefit of their members; that ordinarily have a lodge system whereby activities are carried out under a form of organization that comprises local branches, chartered by a parent organization and largely self-governing, and that make provision for the payment of death benefits, and for benefits in case of accident, sickness, or old age. Y40 should be used only if one of the more specific codes in the Y40 series cannot be determined.

OCONEE COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO BUILDING DECENT HOUSING WITH COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH QUALIFIED FAMILIES WHO ARE CURRENTLY LIVING IN INADEQUATE HOUSING.

OCONEE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY EXISTS TO GLORIFY GOD BY NURTURING STUDENTS AND EQUIPPING THEM TO FULFILL GOD'S UNIQUE PURPOSE FOR THEIR LIVES.

MISSION:

TO ASSIST AND LESSEN THE BURDENS OF THE CITY OF SENECA BY AIDING ECONOMICALLY DEPRESSED AREAS OF THE CITY, BENEFITING ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED CITIZENS OF THE CITY, AND AIDING BUSINESSES TO LOCATE OR REMAIN IN ECONOMICALLY DEPRESSED AREAS AND THEREBY PROVIDE JOB CREATION AND TRAINING TO THE UNEMPLOYED OR UNDEREMPLOYED IN SUCH AREAS.

TO PROVIDE MEDICAL SERVICES TO PERSONS WHO ARE UNABLE TO COMPENSATE AN AREA PHYSICIAN FOR SUCH SERVICES AND TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST OCONEE COUNTY INDIGENT RESIDENTS IN OBTAINING NECESSARY MEDICAL SERVICES.

INSPIRE HOPE IN YOUNG FAMILIES FACING THE LOSS OF A PARENT.

COLLINS CHILDRENS HOME PROVIDES A HOME FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF BIRTH TO 21 WHO ARE IN NEED OF A STRONG FAMILY SUPPORT SYSTEM. THEIR GOAL IS THE SPIRITUAL, INTELLECTUAL, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF PARTICIPATING CHILDREN.

TO BUILD A SAFE AND NURTURING FACILITY WHERE FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS CAN MAINTAIN THEIR SENSE OF WELL-BEING AND DIGNITY WHILE REBUILDING THEIR LIVES AND ULTIMATELY FINDING AND SECURING PERMANENT HOUSING.

THE MISSION OF THE ARC OF OCONEE COUNTY IS TO IMPROVE THE PUBLIC S UNDERSTANDING OF THE INTELLECTUALLY AND DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES I/DD CITIZENS WITH OPPORTUNITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS THAT ENHANCE AND STRENGTHEN THEIR INDEPENDENCE.
