THE MISSION OF LGAR HEALTH AND REHABILITATION CENTER IS TO ACHIEVE QUALITY IN ALL THAT THEY DO BY CONTINUALLY IMPROVING SERVICES TO MEET THE NEEDS AND EXPECTATIONS OF THE RESIDENTS, EMPLOYEES, AND THE COMMUNITY THAT THEY SERVE.

"SERVING AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN HUMAN SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS AND THOSE WHO DEVELOP POLICIES AND FUNDING THAT IMPACT THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE MON VALLEY AREA. "MONITORING COMMUNITY NEEDS AND INITIATING INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES TO FILL SERVICE GAPS. "PROVIDING ESSENTIAL SERVICES TO BOTH COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND HUMAN SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS.

THE MILITARY ORDER OF THE COOTIE IS A VETERANS ORGANIZATION THAT FOCUSES ON HOSPITALIZED VETERANS AND ORPHANED CHILDREN AT THE VFW NATIONAL HOME. OUR MISSION IS TO "KEEP THEM SMILING IN BEDS OF WHITE" BY VISITING OUR HOSPITALIZED VETERANS AND JOINING WITH THEM THRU COMRADSHIP AND GAMES.

THE WOODLAND HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE WOODLAND HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT AND ITS COMMUNITIES BY STRENGTHENING THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF OUR CHILDREN. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS TO GRADUATING STUDENTS OF THE WOODLAND HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT WHO ARE INTERESTED IN PURSUING POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION AND MINI-GRANTS TO EDUCATORS WHO HAVE CREATIVE TEACHING IDEAS THAT IMPROVE THE STUDENT LEARNING EXPERIENCE. IN ADDITION, THROUGH THE PROGRAM H.U.G.S. (HELPING UNCONDITIONALLY AND GIVING SUPPORT) THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS COMMUNITY EVENTS AND IS A WOODLAND HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT WIDE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM SUPPORTING TEACHERS IN THE DISTRICT.
