THE MISSION OF THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS TO ASSEMBLE A COLLECTION OF ITEMS FROM THE LOCAL AREA OF HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE TO THE AREA RESIDENTS AND TO DISPLAY THOSE ITEMS FOR THE EDUCATION AND ENJOYMENT OF AREA RESIDENTS AND VISITORS.

Included may be organizations that participate in air rescue, mountain rescue, sea rescue, ski rescue, traffic accident rescue and urban search and rescue operations.
