ESTABLISHED IN 1966, SHENANGO PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE IS A CHRISTIAN NON-PROFIT CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY SERVING ADULTS 62 YEARS OR OLDER AND PROVIDES PRIORITY ACCESS TO ON-SITE HEALTHCARE SERVICES IF NEEDED, INCLUDING PERSONAL CARE, SKILLED NURSING, DEMENTIA CARE, AND REHABILITATION. FOR MARKETING PURPOSES, THE CAMPUS IS KNOWN AS SHENANGO ON THE GREEN. IT IS OPERATED BY PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE, WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED ON JANUARY 25, 1928 IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA AS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT, CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION. PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE GIVES BACK TO ITS LOCAL COMMUNITIES INCLUDING PROVIDING CHARITABLE CARE TO SENIORS IT SERVES THAT NO LONGER HAVE THE MEANS TO PAY. IN 2021 ACROSS ITS REGIONAL NETWORK, IT PROVIDED A COMBINED TOTAL OF APPROXIMATELY $30 MILLION IN BENEVOLENT AND UNCOMPENSATED CARE.

THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES AN INTER-COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE IN 23 COLLEGE SPORTS FOR 11 MEMBER AND 2 ASSOCIATE MEMBER SCHOOLS. THE 11 MEMBER SCHOOLS ARE ALLEGHENY COLLEGE, BETHANY COLLEGE, CHATHAM UNIVERSITY, FRANCISCAN UNIVERSITY, GENEVA COLLEGE, GROVE CITY COLLEGE, SAINT VINCENT COLLEGE, THIEL COLLEGE, WASHINGTON & JEFFERSON COLLEGE, WAYNESBURG UNIVERSITY, AND WESTMINSTER COLLEGE. THE 2 ASSOCIATE MEMBER SCHOOLS ARE CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY AND CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY.

The goal of this organization is to focus broadly on strengthening, unifying and building the economic, cultural, educational and social services of an urban community or neighborhood.

The goal of this organization is to provide an alternative family living arrangement in agency-supervised family homes for dependent children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse, neglect or abandonment; or for children or adults with disabilities who are unable to live with their birth families or in an independent setting.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.
