THE LIBRARY WAS STARTED IN 1934 WITH A KIT FURNISHED BY THE STATE GOVERNMENT UNDER THE EDUCATIONAL EMERGENCY RELIEF ACT AND BOOKS DONATED BY THE COMMUNITY TO SERVE THE CITIZENS OF SCHUYLKILL HAVEN,PA AREA.
