MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose members are business and professional men and/or women or other individuals who have a common interest in improving the life of the community, which conduct fund-raising events to finance community service projects. PICKENS MUSEUM IS CHARTERED AS AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION WHOSE COLLECTION OF MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART REFLECTS THE VITALITY COMPLEXITY AND UNFOLDING PATTERNS OF ART AND PRESENTS EXHIBITIONS TO NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCES. IN PURSUIT OF THIS GOAL THE MUSEUM HAS COLLECTED OVER 1,000 WORKS OF PAINTING SCULPTURE DRAWING PHOTOGRAPHY AND NATIVE AMERICAN JEWELRY. PROVIDE CARE FOR STRAY, INJURED, ABUSED, AND ABANDONED ANIMALS FOR AS LONG AS PRACTICAL, WORKING TOWARDS THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.
