TO DEMONSTRATE THROUGH MUSEUM BUILDINGS AND COLLECTIONS HOW THE PAST SHAPED THE PRESENT; TO ESTABLISH A PRESENCE IN THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOSTERING THE UNIQUENESS OF MILAN VILLAGE AND ITS ARCHITECTURE; TO COLLABORATE WITH REGIONAL MUSEUMS TO PROMOTE HISTORICAL AWARENESS, PRESERVATION AND RESEARCH.

MISSION:

THE PRESENTATION OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS TO EDISON HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES TO BE USED IN THE PURSUIT OF HIGHER EDUCATION. THE AWARDING OF GRANTS TO TEACHERS OF THE EDISON LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT TO USED FOR FUNDING OF NEW, INNOVATIVE OR EXPERIMENTAL CURRICULAR OR EXTRA-CURRICULAR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES THE RECOGNITION OF TEACHERS, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, STUDENTS AND CITIZENS WHO HAVE DEMONSTRATED OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE, SUPPORT OR INVOLVEMENT WITH THE EDISON LOCAL SCHOOLS.

MISSION:

AIDS IN TEACHING SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE USE OF FIREARMS AND THE ACCOMODATION, CONVENIENCE, EDUCATION AND SOCIAL WELFARE OF ITS MEMBERS. MEMBERSHIP DUES AID CONVERSATION OF SOIL, WATER AND AIR.

MISSION:

TO ACCEPT AND HOLD TITLE TO THE BIRTHPLACE OF THOMAS ALVA EDISON AND TO HISTORICALLY RESTORE, IMPROVE, BEAUTIFY AND PERMANENTLY MAINTAIN THE HOME OF THE GREAT INVENTOR AS A PUBLIC MUSEUM. IT IS OUR GOAL TO PRESERVE AND PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF THOMAS A. EDISON AND EVIDENCE THE PHILOSOPHY, IDEALS AND MOTIVATING SENTIMENTS, WHICH CONSTRAINED HIM TO DEVOTE HIS ENTIRE LIFE TO THE WELL-BEING, COMFORT, SOLACE AND HAPPINESS OF MANKIND.
