The goal of this organization are the facilities, usually located in residential neighborhoods, that provide 24-hour non-medical care for individuals with disabilities who need supervision and/or assistance with activities of daily living.

OPERATION OF THE AMERICAN LEGION POST HOME FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL VETERAN MEMBERS (APPROXIMATE AVERAGE MEMBERSHIP OF 975), AS PRESCRIBED IN THEIR CONSTITUTION AND BI-LAWS. SUPPORT OF CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE COMMUNITY THROUGH CHARITABLE BINGO AND OTHER FUNDRAISERS.

These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.
