THE PURPOSE OF THE HISTORIC VILLAGE IS TO DEPICT THE WAY OF LIFE OF RURAL INHABITANTS OF NORTHWEST OHIO, BETWEEN 1803 & 1949, THROUGH DEMONSTRATIONS, ACTIVITIES AND EXHIBITS. GUESTS ARE PRIMARILY FROM THE SURROUNDING TRI-STATE AREA.

The goal of this organization are the residential options exclusively for older adults who want to have a simpler, maintenance-free lifestyle and enjoy the company of peers with common interests, or who require a moderate amount of support in the activities of daily living to maintain independent living.

TO PROMOTE, DEVELOP, OWN, MAINTAIN, OPERATE AND CARRY ON A HOME SUITABLE FOR THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF ELDERLY PERSONS.

TO ENHANCE EXPAND AND SUSTAIN NORTHWEST STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE SO THAT IT CAN CONTINUE TO FULFILL ITS MISSION OF CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR TRANSFORMATIONAL LEARNING.

PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE VILLAGE OF ARCHBOLD.

PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE COMMUNITY AND RESIDENTS. THE ORGANIZATION DONATES TO MANY CAUSES AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO HELP THE COMMUNITY TO BE A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE. IT ALSO HELPS TO FURTHER THE EDUCATION OF ITS RESIDENTS THROUGH EDUCATION ASSISTANCE.
