THE FOUNDATION HELPS INSTALL SOLAR POWER IN SOME OF THE POOREST PARTS OF THE WORLD, INCLUDING AFRICA, ASIA AND LATIN AMERICA; PLACES THAT ARE RICH IN THEIR ACCESS TO THE SUN BUT LACK FUNDAMENTAL RESOURCES.

THE FRIENDS OF OAKWOOD CEMETERY ASSIST THE OAKWOOD CEMETERY STAFF WITH THEIR DAY-TO-DAY TASKS, RUN A FULL SLATE OF ORGANIZED TOURS AND OTHER EVENTS, SUCH AS THE ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTE. THEY ALSO ORGANIZE THE CEMETERY'S TWO MAJOR FUNDRAISERS, THE DAFFODIL BRUNCH IN APRIL AND THE EVENING AT THE EARL GALA IN OCTOBER.

THE BLEEDING DISORDERS ASSOCIATION OF NORTHEASTERN NEW YORK (BDANENY) IS A NOT FOR PROFIT (501 (C) (3)) ORGANIZATION, INCORPORATED IN 1968, DEDICATED TO SERVING AND SUPPORTING THE NEEDS OF THOSE IMPACTED BY BLEEDING DISORDERS THROUGHOUT A 22 COUNTY AREA IN NORTHEASTERN NEW YORK. THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND ADVOCACY FOR THE BLEEDING DISORDER COMMUNITY.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]
