THE MISSION OF THE CENTER IS TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY CENTER COMMITTED TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF AREA RESIDENTS THROUGH FAMILY SUPPORT, EMPOWERMENT AND EDUCATION.

The goal of this organization is to operate facilities which house a collection of materials including books, manuscripts, journals, government documents and non-print formats such as paintings, musical recordings, videotapes, films and data files which are organized for access by a targeted population.

THE AMERICAN LEGION, BY CHAPTER, HELPS FELLOW VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHEN IN NEED, SPONSORS CHILDRENS AND YOUTH PROGRAMS, DONATES TO CHARITIBLE CAUSES AND PARTICIPATES IN CIVIC CEREMONIES.
