FORMALLY, THE ASSOCIATION WAS CHARTERED TO PRESERVE, MAINTAIN, AND PROMOTE THE GALLUPVILLE HOUSE BUILDING AND IS A NON-STOCK CORPORATION, GRANTED STATUS ON JULY 29, 1977 BY THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW YORK STATE. OUR MEMBERS ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT COMMUNITY BUILDING AND PRESERVING THIS HISTORIC TREASURE. THE GALLUPVILLE HOUSE ASSOCIATION'S MAIN GOALS ARE: PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN THE GALLUPVILLE HOUSE; PROVIDE COMMUNITY AND CULTURAL EVENTS; AND PROMOTE AND PRESERVE THE HISTORY OF NYS, ESPECIALLY THE TOWN OF WRIGHT.
