The goal of this organization are the organizations concerned with civil society, philanthropy, and the nonprofit sector who seek to promote the practice of charitable giving and voluntarism through a variety of strategies including advocacy, disclosure, information exchange, and research. WAS ESTABLISHED AS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION UNDER SECTION 402 OF THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION LAW OF NEW YORK STATE TO ASSUME OWNERSHIP OF MASONIC HALL (FORMERLY KNOWN AS CHAPEL HALL) LOCATED AT 25 INSTITUTE STREET IN FRANKLIN, NEW YORK AND OPERATE THERE A PROFESSIONAL SUMMER THEATRE AS WELL AS OTHER CULTURAL AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, AND OTHER CHARITABLE FUNCTIONS. TWO GOALS CONVERGE IN THIS PROJECT. THE FIRST IS CULTURAL. WE AIM, THROUGH INNOVATIVE AND ACCESSIBLE PRODUCTIONS OF PLAYS FROM THE CLASSICAL REPERTORY, AS WELL AS SOME OF THE FINEST PLAYS OF THE 20TH CENTURY, TO STIMULATE INTEREST IN LIVE THEATRE AND TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF AREA RESIDENTS AND VISITORS. THE SECOND GOAL IS THE PRESERVATION OF FRANKLIN'S BEAUTIFUL CHAPEL HALL, A BUILDING LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES. WE WANT TO ENSURE THAT THE BUILDING WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE AS A CENTER OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITY AS IT HAS FOR GENERATIONS.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE A FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY TO LOCAL AREA RESIDENTS.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to satisfy their inner needs and enhance their spiritual growth through organized worship or through other devotional activities under the auspices of one of the group of religious faiths that is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. THE SANCTUARY'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE PERMANENT CARE, INCLUDING SHELTER, FOOD, VETRINARY CARE AND MEDICINE FOR ALL OF OUR ANIMALS, ALL OF WHOM ARE NOT ADOPTABLE, IN OUR CAGE FREE, NO-KILL SHELTER. THE SANCTUARY ALSO OPERATES A LOW COST SPAY/NUETER CLINIC FOR CATS FOR THOSE IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY WHO CANNOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THOSE SERVICES.
