THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO SUPPORT THE PROVISION OF QUALITY HEALTH CARE TO THE RESIDENTS OF FISHERS ISLAND, NEW YORK.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

BY CONSTRUCTING THE PATH, THE FOUNDATION HOPES TO PROMOTE AND IMPROVE THE HEALTH, SAFETY, RECREATION AND WELL-BEING OF HTE RESIDENTS OF SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK.

MISSION:

THE LIGHTHOUSE WORKS IS DEVOTED TO ENCOURAGING THE DEVELOPMENT OF ARTISTS THROUGH A FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM AND TO THE YEAR AROUND CULTURAL VITALITY OF FISHERS ISLAND.

MISSION:

FISHERS ISLAND LIBRARY ASSOCIATION SERVES THE ISLAND COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING LITERARY, INFORMATIONAL, CULTURAL, AND EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT RESOURCES AND PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT THE LIBRARY AND OTHER ISLAND VENUES.

WE MAINTAIN SEA STRETCHER, OUR EMERGENCY BOAT, PROVIDE EMT SERVICES AND STAFF A VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, ALL OF WHICH SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST TO THE USER.
