MISSION:

CENTRAL SQUARE FIRE COMPANY #1 PROVIDES FIRE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES TO THE VILLAGE OF CENTRAL SQUARE AND THE TOWN OF HASTINGS.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE HASTINGS, CENTRAL SQUARE, CAUGHDENOY, AND WEST MONROE FIRE DISTRICTS AND/OR ITS ENVIRONS AS MAY BE NECESSARY IN ANY GIVEN EMERGENCY OR AS A RESULT OF ANY MUTUAL SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN SOVAC AND OTHER AGENCIES OR VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE SERVICES WITHIN THE STATE OF NEW YORK.

MISSION:

ORGANIZATION PLANS, PROMOTES AND PROVIDES WORKSHOPS TO IMPROVE SNOWMOBILE TRAILS AND IS INVOLVED IN TRAIL PLANNING IN NEW YORK STATE. ALSO ASSISTS WITH LINKING TRAILS TO NEIGHBORING STATES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ADMINISTERS THE INSURANCE FOR THE NYS TRAIL SYSTEM.

Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in baseball or softball. Coaching, access to a baseball field, baseball equipment, uniforms, and managers and umpires for games are generally included.
