MISSION:

THE MISSION OF ALFRED UNIVERSITY IS TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT QUALITY AND ENDURING VALUE THROUGH ACADEMIC AND CO-CURRICULAR PROGRAMMING THAT IS BOTH INTELLECTUALLY CHALLENGING AND PRACTICALLY RELEVANT. WE ARE CULTURALLY DIVERSE AND STUDENT-CENTERED, AND AIM TO SERVE AN EVER-CHANGING STUDENT POPULATION. WE SEEK STUDENTS WITH THE ASPIRATION AND DEDICATION TO DO WELL FOR THEMSELVES AND FOR THEIR GREATER COMMUNITIES. THUS, WE PREPARE OUR STUDENTS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND LIFE-HABITS THAT WILL ENABLE THEM TO SUCCEED, AND TO LIVE LIVES OF CONTINUOUS PERSONAL GROWTH AND SERVICE TO OTHERS. ORGANIZATION PROVIDES NON-ACADEMIC SERVICES SUCH AS FOOD, RETAIL BOOKS AND SUPPLIES, VENDING, AND TRANSPORTATION TO THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY.

THE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION OF ALFRED, INC. IS A FOUNDATION DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE ALFRED STATE COLLEGE COMMUNITY THROUGH SUPPORT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. THE FOUNDATION EXISTS TO ENHANCE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF.

OUR MISSION IS THE PROVISION OF FIRE SUPPRESSION AND RESCUE SERVICES IN THE VILLAGE OF ALFRED, NY THE PROVISION OF LIFE SUPPORT AMBULANCE SERVICES TO THETOWN OF ALFRED, NY AND THE TOWNS OF WARD HARTSVILLE.

MISSION:

THE STUDENT SENATE PROVIDES FUNDING FOR STUDENT CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY. THE STUDENT SENATE ALSO MANAGES THE COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE STUDENT ACTIVITIES FEE PER SUNY GUIDELINES.
