The goal of this organization are the nongovernmental, nonprofit organizations with funds (usually from a single source, such as an individual, family or corporation) and programs managed by its own trustees or directors, established to maintain or aid social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare, primarily through grantmaking.

MISSION:

THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS ATTENDING NEVADA SCHOOLS. THE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE PURSUANT TO THE EDUCATIONAL CHOICE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM UNDER ASSEMBLY BILL 165 OF THE 2015 NEVADA LEGISLATURE. DURING 2023, 334 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED.

TO INCREASE AWARENESS AND EDUCATION SURROUNDING THE ISSUE OF COMMERCIAL SEXUAL EXPLOITATION

TO ASSIST THE NEVADA DIVISION OF INSURANCE IN THE REGULATION OF SURPLUS LINES INSURANCE AND TO ENCOURAGE COMPLIANCE BY SURPLUS LINES AGENTS AND INSURERS WITH THE SURPLUS LINES LAW AND THE RULES OF THE NEVADA DIVISION OF INSURANCE

THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS TITLE TO PROPERTY ON BEHALF OF THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS LOCAL 401. RESPONSIBILITIES AND SERVICES OF THE ORGANIZATION INCLUDE REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO THE BUILDING, TAXES, AND OTHER OCCUPANCY COSTS.

IS TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN HIGH PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AMOUNG CONTRACTORS AND IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY; TO ENCOURAGE SOUND BUSINESS METHODS; TO IMPROVE THE STANDING OF CONTRACTORS IN THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY; TO ENCOURAGE EFFICIENCY AMONG CONTRACTORS; TO PROMOTE BETTER RELATIONS BETWEEN PRIVATE OWNERS, PUBLIC BODIES, PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANTS AND CONTRACTORS; TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC INTEREST; AND TO MAKE MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATED GENERAL CONTRACTORS OF AMERICA A REASONABLE ASSURANCE TO THE PUBLIC OF THE SKILL, INTEGRITY AND RESPONSIBILITY OF ITS MEMBERS.
