PROVIDES EMERGENCY MEDICAL & RESCUE SERVICES TO READINGTON TOWNSHIP AS WELL AS PARTS OFCLINTON TOWNSHIP AND TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP. EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS (EMTS) ARE ON CALL 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS PER WEEK (FROM TWO STATIONS) TO RESPOND TO MORE THAN 1,600 CALLS EACH YEAR.

PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS, BOTH VOLUNTEER AND PAID, TO THEIR FAMILIES AND TO WIDOWS AND DEPENDENT CHILDREN OF DECEASED FIREFIGHTERS.
