PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO ACQUIRE AND HOLD EDUCATION PROPERTY AND OTHER CAPITAL ASSETS IN SUPPORT OF BETHANY COMMUNITY SCHOOL. THE FUNDING FOR THE CORPORATION IS THROUGH FUNDRAISING PROJECTS, PRIVATE DONATIONS AND LEASE PAYMENTS TO SUPPORT SCHOOL FACILITY AND PROGRAM EXPANSION.

BEACON ACADEMY IS A MONTESSORI SCHOOL AND ACTON ACADEMY EDUCATING CHILDREN FROM PRE-K THROUGH 7TH GRADE, WITH A MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASS OPENING UP SOON. WE USE BEST PRACTICES FROM INNOVATIVE SCHOOLS AND COMPANIES AROUND THE WORLD TO DELIVER EDUCATION THAT PREPARES YOUNG PEOPLE TO BECOME THE MASTERS OF THEIR OWN DESTINIES. THEY LEARN TO BUILD HABITS FOR SUCCESS, WORK HARD AND TRY AGAIN WHEN THEY FAIL, AND HAVE THE COURAGE TO TAKE A STAND FOR WHAT THEY BELIEVE IN.

TABITHA MINISTRY IS A CHRISTIAN MINISTRY THAT PROVIDES FREE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR WOMEN SEEKING TO CHANGE THE COURSE OF THEIR LIVES, SUCH AS THOSE TRANSITIONING BACK INTO SOCIETY AFTER PRISON, ADDICTION, HOMELESSNESS, ABUSIVE SITUATIONS, PROSTITUTION, SEX-TRAFFICKING, OR A HISTORY OF ABUSE OR OTHER FORMS OF TRAUMA.

MISSION:

L.O.T. 2540 SUPPORTS MINISTRIES THAT PROMOTE PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL HEALING FOR FAMILIES IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NC. THE CORE OF THE MINISTRY IS COMPRISED OF COUNSELING/PRAYER SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY TO SERVE THEIR SPIRITUAL NEEDS.THE CORE MINISTRIES ARE SUPPORTED BY A RETAIL SPACE THAT INCLUDES A SALVAGE AND RECYCLING STORE. THE STORE NOT ONLY OFFERS FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO L.O.T. 2540 BUT IS ALSO UTILIZED TO FACILITATE VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR "IN TRANSITION" INDIVIDUALS. OTHER MINISTRIES, DIRECTED TOWARD THOSE WHO ARE STRUGGLING ECONOMICALLY, INCLUDE A "FREE STORE" (CLOTHING, FURNISHINGS, FOOD ITEMS, ETC.) AND A FOOD PANTRY SUPPORTED BY FOOD DONATIONS AND PURCHASES.L.O.T. 2540 CONTINUES TO MENTOR AND SUPPORT OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP CLIENTS TO BECOME SELF-SUPPORTING.

The goal of this organization is to focus on influencing public policy within the Public, Society Benefit - Multipurpose and Other major group area. Includes a variety of activities from public education and influencing public opinion to lobbying national and state legislatures.

The goal of this organization is to provide for the humane care, protection and control of animals and which investigate instances of cruelty to animals.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the volunteer and other organizations that provide emergency rescue operations and/or lifesaving activities for people who are stranded, lost, accident victims, or exposed to other life-threatening dangers. Included may be organizations that participate in air rescue, mountain rescue, sea rescue, ski rescue, traffic accident rescue and urban search and rescue operations.

LIVING THE NEW LIFE MINISTRIES' ACTIVITIES INCLUDE DEVELOPING, SCHEDULING AND TEACHING OR CONDUCTING CONFERENCES FOR CHURCHES AND PASTORS.

The goal of this organization is to operate organizations of parents, educators, students, and other citizens who are active in their schools and communities promoting the health, education, and welfare of children.

FOUNDED IN 2017, THE GARRET TORNEY FOUNDATION IS AN ORGANIZATION SET OUT TO HELP VETERANS BATTLE PTSD. WE WILL LEAD OUR EFFORTS BY PROVIDING SERVICE AND/OR COMPANION DOGS TO VETERANS WITH PTSD, SPREADING PTSD AWARENESS AND PARTNERING WITH LIKEMINDED CHARITIES THAT WE KNOW AND TRUST, SUPPORTING VETERANS WITH PTSD, OUR COMMUNITIES AND CREATING MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS WITH THOSE INVOLVED. WE EXIST TO BENEFIT VETERANS AND CREATE EXPERIENCES WHERE PASSION AND PURPOSE COME TOGETHER AND PARTNERING WITH LIKEMINDED CHARITIES THAT WE KNOW AND TRUST, SUPPORTING VETERANS WITH PTSD.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.
