THE CAROLINAS GOLF FOUNDATION WAS FORMED BY THE CAROLINAS GOLF ASSOCIATION IN 1977 TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS AND FUNDING FOR A VARIETY OF CAROLINAS-BASED GOLF INITIATIVES.

FOSTER CAMARADERIE AMONG UNITED STATES VETERANS OF OVERSEAS CONFLICTS. SERVE OUR VETERANS, THE MILITARY, AND OUR COMMUNITIES. ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF ALL VETERANS. OUR VISION IS TO ENSURE THAT VETERANS ARE RESPECTED FOR THEIR SERVICE, RECEIVE THEIR EARNED ENTITLEMENTS, AND ARE RECOGNIZED FOR THE SACRIFICES THEY AND THEIR LOVED ONES HAVE MADE ON BEHALF OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY. THE VFW IS AN ORGANIZATION OF WAR VETERANS COMMITTED TO ENSURING RIGHTS, REMEMBERING SACRIFICES, PROMOTING PATRIOTISM, PERFORMING COMMUNITY SERVICES AND ADVOCATING FOR A STRONG NATIONAL DEFENSE. OUR POST IS NAMED FOR JOHN BOYD, THE FIRST RESIDENT OF MOORE COUNTY TO BE LOST DURING WWII. THROUGHOUT OUR OVER 70 YEAR HISTORY HERE IN THE SANDHILLS OF NORTH CAROLINA, POST 7318 WORKS TO SUPPORT ALL SERVICE MEMBERS, IN THEIR LIVES AFTER SERVING OUR NATION. RENOVATING OUR CURRENT POST HOME IN 2015, WE HAVE BECOME A PREMIER LOCATION FOR VETERANS VISITING THE AREA. WE HAVE ROBUST VETERAN'S RELIEF SUPPORT SYSTEM.

THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDS FOR THE HEADSTART PROGRAM,COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS, AS WELL AS EDUCATIONAL AND MEDICAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH.

THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST BY GIVING MONEY TO PROVIDE THE SUPPORT TO CHILDREN, ORPHANS, AND OTHER VULNERABLE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.

TO SUPPORT THE UNITED STATES SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMUNITY THROUGH DIRECT SUPPORT TO FAMILIES OF FALLEN OPERATORS, HEALING PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO COMBAT THE EFFECTS OF PTS, TBI AND LOSS OF A LOVED ONE, AND YOUTH SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CHILDREN OF ACTIVE DUTY MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY.

THE ORGANIZATION IS A HALFWAY HOUSE FOR RECOVERING ALCOHOLICS AND DRUG ADDICTED WOMEN. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A HOME, FOOD, CLOTHING AND COUNSELING TO A MAXIMUM OF 8 PATIENTS AT A TIME.

PROMOTE RECOVERY OF THE ENDANGERED RED-COCKADED WOODPECKER (RCW) THROUGH POPULATION MONITORING, ARTIFICIAL CAVITY MANAGEMENT AND TRANSLOCATION, CONCURRENT WITH CONSERVATION OF LONGLEAF PINE ECOSYSTEMS THAT SUPPORT RCW AND THE ASSOCIATED SUITE OF ANIMAL AND PLANT SPECIES.
