THE RHO ZETA CHAPTER OF CHI OMEGA SORORITY IS LOCATED AT EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY IN GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA. THE CHAPTER OFFERS SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO ENHANCE THE COLLEGE EXPERIENCE FOR ITS FEMALE MEMBERS/STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY. THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES AND SUPPORTS THE SIX FOUNDATIONAL PURPOSES OF THE NATIONAL CHO OMEGA SORORITY: FRIENDSHIP, HIGH STANDARDS OF PERSONNEL, SINCERE LEARNING AND CREDITABLE SCHOLARSHIP, PARTICIPATION IN CAMPUS ACTIVITIES, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE.

The goal of this organization are the neighborhood-based multipurpose centers that offer, at a single location, a wide variety of services and activities that are structured to meet the needs of the entire community through different programs for different age and interest groups.

Programs can include social and recreational activities for people who are recovering from surgery or a serious illnesses; supportive services for children who are ill and for their families which enable family members to remain with a child who is hospitalized; family and sibling support groups, and programs which attempt to make a gravely or terminally ill child’s final days, weeks and months more pleasant.
