TO RECORD AND PRESERVE THE HISTORY AND ARTIFACTS OF STILLWATER COUNTY AND THE VICINITY. TO BUILD, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A LOCAL MUSEUM TO HOUSE AND DISPLAY A COLLECTION OF SUCH ARTIFACTS AND MEMORABILIA DEEMED TO BE UNIQUE TO OUR AREA AND TYPICAL OF THE PERIOD OF DISCOVERY, SETTLEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF THAT AREA.
