THE MID-MISSISSIPPI REGIONAL SYSTEM IS AN EDUCATIONAL, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH PROVIDED FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY SERVICES TO FIVE COUNTIES AND 13 MUNICIPALITIES IN RURAL CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI. CIRCULATION OF BOOKS AND OTHER MATERIALS FOR STUDY, REFERENCE, READING AND RELAXATION PLUS CHILDREN'S STORY HOURS, REFERENCE WORKSHOPS, AND MANY OTHER EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST TO THE CITIZENS.

REDBUD SPRINGS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB WAS ORGANIZED FOR SOCIAL AND RECRETIONAL PURPOSES. MEMBERS ARE ABLE TO GATHER TOGETHER FOR EVENTS SUCH AS WEDDINGS, FAMILY RENUIONS, ETC. MEMBERS CAN ENJOY THE MANY AMENITIES THE CLUB HAS TO OFFER SUCH AS FULL SIZE SWIMMING POOL, CLUB HOUSE AND PAVALLION, AS WELL AS A 9 HOLE GOLF COURSE.

The funds available to a community foundation are usually derived from many donors and held in an endowment that is independently administered; income earned by the endowment is then used to make grants.
